Arsenal Football Club has announced a deal with office equipment supplier Altodigital to provide a secure print infrastructure across its network and a way to address its document storage requirements.
Altodigital has implemented a mix of hardware and software, including Ricoh multifunctional devices (MFDs) and Equitrac print management software. The new infrastructure provides the ability for the club to cut costs by taking advantage of ‘smart printing'. This reduces inefficiencies by directing print runs to the most cost effective option, such as networked MFDs rather than desktops machines. Arsenal is also now able to boast improved security with ‘FollowYou Printing', and print management tools that allow them to monitor traffic.
Paul Farmer, head of IT at Arsenal explained: "We chose to work with Altodigital as they listened to our needs and provided a tailored solution, which enabled us to improve efficiencies both in management and environmental terms."
"We are delighted to be working with Arsenal FC," says Mike Brown, Altodigital regional sales manager. "We looked at the club's requirements and then delivered a solution using Ricoh hardware and print management software that meets its specific requirements."
