Document management specialist, The DocuWare Group celebrated its 20th year by setting records in both revenues and new installations. In comparison to last year, DocuWare increased its sales volume by 8.4%.
After adjustments due to currency fluctuations, the growth rate over 2007 resulted in 12.3%, the group's total revenue sits at approximately €11.5m and the company's network of partners witnessed associated project revenues of around €53m.
New installations were up 20%, with 1,011 new customers in 2008 (compared to 845 in 2007). The company credits this to the launch of DocuWare 5.1b, which includes the DocuWare Web Client.
DocuWare says it will continue develop its web-based solutions and to support this goal, hired more R&D personnel in 2008.
The relationship DocuWare has with its Authorized DocuWare Partners (ADPs) is often one of loyalty, boasting partners for as long as 15 years. To inform its ADPs of the newest developments, the company hosts partner events. In February and March, around 400 participants travelled to Majorca, Spain to attend DocuWorld D.A.CH. and DocuWorld EMEA and to Las Vegas to attend DocuWorld Americas.
