Dealer network Nectere teamed up with Nescafé to host its most successful blitz day to date. Nectere ran the campaign across the whole of the UK and in just over four hours, the Nectere partners had sold the equivalent to a week and a half of normal coffee sales.
Nescafé provided prizes for the sales team at the Nectere admin centre, who were joined by a Nescafé representative on the day for support and motivation.
Elaine Allan, an account manager at Nectere's Edinburgh partner Riverside Stationers, stated: "The amount of coffee we sold really surprised us. It was good to get involved in Blitz days again as we were too busy to arrange them for a while but luckily now we don't have to arrange anything. It was great to just have one promotion to focus on throughout the day and the customers loved the free Nescafé mugs."
After the success of this blitz day Nectere has decided to take part in blitz days on a monthly basis. Dawn Kirby, Nectere's marketing manager explained: "Our day Nescafé was a great success. It's a real motivational boost when suppliers get involved with the day but I do also have to pass most of the credit onto all of our partners who did a great job on the day to help reach these amazing sales figures. Now we're just looking forward to keeping up our successes for the next blitz day."
