Spicers is to launch a new service proposition for furniture in conjunction with its third party logistics partner DHL.
The new service will consolidate all furniture into one site at Lutterworth and will be supported by an expanded product range, including products for specific market sectors and ranges from European sources.
Spicers has confirmed the following benefits for the service.
The transition to the new service will take place during April and May and Spicers' sales and service teams will be in regular contact with dealers during this period to ensure that they are aware of the improvements to the service and how the transition will be phased.
Alan Ball, MD for Spicers UK, said: "This is a real step-change in our service proposition on furniture for dealers that reinforces Spicers commitment to the furniture category.
"The improved service will deliver better range, quality, control over deliveries, order-fill and traceability - a fabulous package for our dealer partners to offer to their own customers. This initiative supports our strategy of delivering everything for the office through our dealer partner at the lowest cost to serve."
