Office Club and Antalis have announced their ‘Green Ticket' promotion last year to have been a success following volume sales growth of over 14% during the period.
Merchandising manager Allison Fishlock commented: "The growth in sales of our own brand copier paper is a tribute to the efforts put into establishing a place for the copier paper in the market.
"The ‘Hunt for a Green Ticket' promotion certainly raised the profile, but sales have been maintained because of the quality of the sheet and the environmental accreditations the paper carries. Being PEFC, EU Eco-Label and CarbonNeutral accredited makes the paper fairly unique and we are increasingly finding that this is becoming the paper of choice for many of our members' customers."
Fishlock went on to confirm that the growth in own brand 80gsm paper has also stimulated a growth in the other own brand weights: "Over the same period of time we have seen a growth in volume sales of our 90gsm and 100gsm sheets too, these have grown by 14.45% and 11.84% respectively with more Office Club members than ever selling the product range."
