Following the acquisition of Tollit & Harvey, Exacompta Clairefontaine has announced some changes to the management team at the King's Lynn-based manufacturing and distribution company.
Mark Daisley, who has worked for the business for over 17 years, has been appointed MD. He joined as an assistant accountant and worked his way up to the position of group finance manager in 2005. Following the acquisition of the business in August 2008, he was appointed head of finance/company secretary and worked closely with chairman Charles Nusse in the restructuring and reorganisation of the business.
Daisley commented: "This is a great opportunity for me, one which I intend to grasp with both hands. We have had some challenging and tough decisions to make in the last year or so and I am sure that some even more challenging times lie ahead. We have a great team here at Tollit & Harvey, who are all committed to providing excellent products and customer service so we have everything to go for in the future."
A new face to the team and spearheading the sales and marketing activity is James Mead, who joins the company as sales and marketing director. Mead, previously with Masters of London, has been brought in to the business to drive sales through all channels. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience and is looking forward to tackling the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Mark Sander, the current head of sales at Tollit & Harvey, has announced his decision to leave the business to pursue a career in retailing. Sander has had an interest in the Caithness Crystal Visitor Centre since it was acquired by Tollit & Harvey in 2007 and sees this as the perfect time to become more personally involved in the expansion and development plans of this successful local enterprise. Sander, who will leave at the end of August, has been with Tollit & Harvey for over 35 years and he goes with the very best wishes from all of his colleagues.
