Hamelin’s Philip Light takes home the trophy

Philip Light of Hamelin Paperbrands was crowned the new Superstat Golf Champion at the dealer group's recent conference, winning the Superstat trophy at the one-day golf event sponsored by Antalis.

Light said he was "thrilled beyond belief and privileged" to take part in the event. "I'm currently changing my business cards to reflect the honour by having SGC after my name and the fact that I have to pay for my own engraving of the cup is of no consequence," he joked.

Accolades from fellow golfing enthusiasts were summarised by Mark Brown from Elba who said: "We'd like to give Phil our warmest congratulations."
